The Santa Luisa and Finca de Altura ranges from Argentina are produced by Viñas de Altura, a family-owned winery which owns some of the highest altitude vineyards in the world. The altitude of the vineyards creates an unusual combination of coolness of the climate, the permanent breeze from the Andes and the quality of the sunshine resulting from continuously clear skies, along with a large variation between day and night temperatures. These factors allow the sun to slowly ripen excellent quality grapes, and deliver structured wines, with a high concentration of aromas and flavours, and lasting palate presence.
