Vintage Notes: 2001 - Red Burgundy
In 2001, the general consensus among growers was that the key to success in this challenging year was the work in the vineyard. Despite some challenging weather conditions, growers who removed damaged berries after the hailstorms and subsequently delayed harvesting until the vine had recovered were able to pick ripe, healthy grapes.

2001 is a vintage in which it is essential to be highly selective.
